Peoples “Bring the Heat” Brings in $32,650

As we wave Buctober farewell, we’re grateful for the Pirates and their partnership with Peoples Natural Gas for the 2015 Bringing the Heat campaign. At one of the final games of the season, Freddy the Flame and Joe Gregorini, Vice President of Rates and Regulatory Affairs at Peoples, presented Chad Quinn, Dollar Energy Fund CEO, with a check for $32,650 – a result of a full season of strikeouts. Peoples generously donated $25 for each strike out and the Pirates pitchers delivered 1338 of them. The funds will go directly toward helping Peoples customers who are struggling to restore or maintain basic utility services.

The strikeouts helped to raise enough money to warm the homes of 116 families this winter.

Thank you to the Pittsburgh Pirates and Peoples Natural Gas for helping Dollar Energy Fund in reaching more families with more resources.
