West Virginia Special Reduced Rate Service Program (SRRS)

The Special Reduced Rate Service Program (SRRS) was established by West Virginia state government to assist eligible participants in receiving a 20 percent discount from their utility company.

Eligibility

In order to qualify for the SRRS program, applicants must be:

  • A recipient of SSI, WV WORKS, or receive Food Stamps, and be 60 years of age or older
  • A participant in the above programs during November, December, January, February, and March to receive discount for that month.
